Heather is such a good instructor, it’s hard to know where to start. I had my first lesson almost a year ago, aged 36 but had never even held a steering wheel before. I was very nervous, but Heather gradually built my confidence, one lesson at a time, developing all the skills needed to be a good driver. Fast forward to today, and I passed my test with just one minor. It’s all thanks to Heather! If you’re in Bristol and need a driving instructor, do yourself a favour and go with Apple Driving School.

Massive thank you to phill from apple driving school! I managed to pass first time with no minors. Great, informative lessons with a very high knowledge of the cars inner workings. Phill was always prompt and willing to give extra help when needed, especially around my busy schedule. I was also given very useful mock tests with Heather in the build up to my tests which helped massively. Would recommend apple driving school to anyone of any levels of driving.

Apple Driving School - 5 stars!

I can’t recommend Apple driving school enough. I’ve always been really nervous about learning to drive and can get quite panicky but Heather always made me feel so comfortable and calm which made such a difference. Heather managed to increase my confidence and was so patient and gave easy explanations if I did something wrong. I passed my test first time which I never thought would happen! Thank you for everything Heather, I’m going to miss our lessons and chats, we’ve still got the motorway lesson to do which I’m looking forward to!

Friendly, patient learning environment - Highly recommended!

I highly recommend Apple Driving School. Not only is Phil calm, patient and caring, he's also extremely knowledgeable about the mechanics under the bonnet and clearly explains what is happening as you press the accelerator or clutch pedals, providing a better overall understanding of the process of driving a car. If I made a mistake Phil would take the time to clearly explain how I could improve on this next time. This has provided me with the skills and knowledge to pass my practical driving test and hopefully be a more considerate, safer driver. I will really miss my weekly lessons. Thanks Phil and Heather!

Most amazing instructor.

As someone who is autistic and has learning difficulties I have always been worried about driving. Heather has been an amazing instructor, she listened to my personal circumstances and taught me in a way that I was able to get the most out of my lessons. Heather taught me so much about both driving and also how a car works. Seeing her every week was amazing she is such a fun and enthusiastic person and anytime I thought I couldn't succeed or that I was doing badly she always made me feel like I was capable and helped me correct my mistakes. Thanks to her hard work and patience with me I have passed on my second attempt. I would highly recommend Heather to anyone learning to drive and I won't forget the fun that we had during our lessons.

Thank you so much Heather! I never thought i would do it but you made me believe i could. After a couple of failed attempts at learning with other instructors my confidence was low but she built me back up and now i've passed! You wont find a better teacher than Heather, her knowledge is second to none, shes not only patient and fair but very funny and will put you at ease. If you want to learn to drive this is the lady you need teaching you!

Amazing instructor highly recommend!

Big thank you to Heather for helping me learn to drive! I was a very nervous driver and was worried I would never be able to drive but Heather made sure I was comfortable and eased me into it. I found the lessons really enjoyable, each lesson I learnt lots but at a speed that I was comfortable with. Heather was understanding of any worries I had and was great at reassuring me in stressful situations. I had a great experience learning to drive, it was something to look forward to every week.

Excellent driving instructor, would highly recommend!

I've been a qualified driver outside the UK for 8 years, yet with Heather I learned something new at every lesson. I can confidently say that she has made me a better and safer driver. Heather has excellent coaching skills and she was very patient, even when I made the silliest of mistakes. If you're learning to drive, whether new or experienced, manual or automatic, I would highly recommend Apple Driving School.

Couldn't recommend Heather Enough!

I passed first time with Heather and I couldn’t recommend her enough! She is absolutely hilarious, you can definitely expect many laughs during your lessons. She’s patient and calming, teaching you safely and effectively. I was extremely nervous when I had my first few lessons but she took it at a slow pace and made sure I got the hang of everything. I will miss my lessons with Heather, can’t thank her enough for everything!

Amazing and thoughtful throughout

I struggled for years to build up the confidence to actually start seriously going for my driving licence. I've got autism and doing things I don't fully understand give me great anxiety... but apple driving school were kind and extremely thoughtful from the very first phone conversation.

Every lesson was a joy and we took it at the pace that I needed, with all the facts and information easily explained and given throughout. Id look forward to my lesson every week, and I felt like real progress was always made.

I passed my test first time and am confident Ive got all the tools and experience I need to start my driving future in the best possible way.

10/10 would definitely recommend :)

Brilliant driving school

I would highly recommend Heather and her Apple driving school. I put off learning to drive and taking my driving test for many years as I was really anxious and nervous about driving and I’m pleased to say thanks to Heather’s brilliant teaching I passed first time!!! She is very thorough and professional in her teaching method and will only put you forward for the test when she thinks you are ready. I have gained so much confidence in my ability to drive and am actually enjoying driving which I didn’t expect! Absolutely brilliant driving school.

Fantastic instructor

I passed my test 29th Dec. I could not believe I passed even with 0 mistake. When the examiner explained about my licence I cried in front of him.

2017 was such difficult time for me because of driving. Some people decide to learn to drive but not me. My situation pushed me to learn. I did not like to drive even I am afraid of driving. All my ex instructors said I am not a natural driver at all. Heather said " what did you learn?" at first lesson. I had lesson for 6 months with 2instuctors before I had Heather. From then our wrestling started. She told me from very basic things like check, mirror, indicate and manuvour..She never gave up..said the same thing again and again and brought me the same place again and again until I made it.

Eventually!!!!!!! I got my driving licence now.

I think she is a brillant instructor. She made me to drive so she can make you to pass the test with 0 mistake..

Nervous Driver - Passed 1st Time!

After having a not so pleasant experience with an intensive driving school I decided to take to learning the old fashion way. After calling many schools and being told that my area wasn't covered or that weekends were not available I came across Apple driving school. Heather called me back the same day and we arranged a schedule that accommodated us both. I can honestly say I made the right choice, being a nervous driver Heather made me feel at ease and slowly built me into a safe and confident driver. I wasn't just taught test routes either, Heather was always very keen to turn me into a good driver who was aware of his surroundings and safe at all times. They say the real learning doesn't begin until you pass your test. I feel I have been given the best start and feel that when I am out on the road I am confident in my ability and know i'll get to my end destination safely.

I PASSED!

Heather was my 3rd driving instructor as I swapped from manual to auto and moved to Bristol. She is so supportive and encouraging and helps you to see why and where you went wrong and never gets annoyed. Heather has been so accommodating doing her best to fit into my schedule, despite the business of hers. There was never a lesson without a lot of laughter, making the whole learning experience enjoyable and productive. Passed after 3 attemps with other driving schools

I'm so grateful to Apple Driving School for helping me pass my practical driving test a week ago with just 2 minors after 3 attemps with other driving schools and I want to share the wonderful experience I had with Apple Driving School. My instructor Mr Mohammad was very patient and understanding and he made sure that I understood whatever he was teaching me and that I was able to do it confidently. Highly Recommended!

Couldn’t be happier.

I was like you, browsing the internet, looking for a driving school to get me going. You know, a reputable one, with good reviews and decent pricing. I came across Apple. I was a little apprehensive. Best driving instructor I've ever had!

Having not started learning driving till 24 / 25, I was definitely nervous to begin with, and there was also a fair amount of pressure to learn and pass. However, Heather instantly recognised these worries and built my lessons to diminish them, reinforcing the basics and ensuring safety before progressing onto more complex techniques.

In the end, it took me no longer than normal to pass first time without any external driving exposure. Heather was very flexible considering her busy schedule, and adapted to my timetable in order to make sure I was on track to be up to standard by test. Furthermore, the lessons were enjoyable, and we had plenty of chats and breaks if I got a bit nervous! I'd highly recommend learning to drive with Heather and the rest of the Apple team.

What a skilled, knowledgeable, wonderful and supportive teacher!

I learnt to drive with two teachers before, Heather but I don't feel like I actually began to learn until she became my instructor. Heather takes the time to not only teach you how to drive but why! She doesn't teach you to drive but how to become a driver! Her priority is ensuring that you are a safe, thoughtful competent driver. Her teaching is fair and firm, above all Heather truly and sincerely cares about her pupils, she'll never make you feel scolded and knows how encourage and support you.

Also, you can definitely count on plenty of giggles with Heather! Lessons with her us always fun; she makes you feel like family. Whilst I'm thrilled to have passed, I will genuinely miss my time with Heather!

Great professional driving school that care about your safety.

I was nervous to begin with and worried that i would not be able to pick up driving, i also had concerns that i was basically going to get scammed like some of my friends stories. Heather could see i was nervous and was going to take a bit longer than usual to pass and she adapted to my needs. After a lot of hours and patience from Heather i managed to pass first time with only 4 driver faults which far exceeded what i thought i was going to get and i now feel confident that i am driving safely and properly.

This is a great driving school, they do things properly and respectfully and Heather's number one priority is safety. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Great driving lesson experience with Phil from Apple Driving School

I had started manual lessons a year ago with another driving school, but due to irregular lessons and lot of other reasons, I had completely lost my confidence. I joined Heather 8 years after first taking driving lessons. Heather instantly made me feel comfortable and confident when driving her car. Nervous driving passed first time

I was always too scared to learn to drive but through the encouragement of friends I decided to give it a go at the age of 30. I was so incredibly nervous and Heather was the best instructor for this. She tought me at a pace I felt comfortable with, she never pushed me but encouraged me. I would be nervous before a lesson but she'd calm me down in no time with her great sense of humour and caring nature. She had me in stitches so many times which is just what I needed. Safety is very important to Heather. She teaches you to drive properly and not just how to pass your test. The proof that she is a good teacher is that I passed my test first time! Brilliant Driving School

Apple Driving Lessons

For years I have always wanted to learn to drive, a few years ago I tried a with few different driving schools, unfortunately in the few lessons I had, I lost confidence and became nervous at driving. I stopped lessons for over a year and then finally decided to give it another try. After a bit of searching I came across Apple Driving School and had lessons with Heather. Heather has made the lessons fun, was very supportive and most of all boosted confidence in driving again! She teaches us not only to drive but to become safe drivers.

Heather is an incredible instructor, who understands her individual pupil’s needs and can adapt accordingly. I started learning at 32 years of age and had previous experience of a “bigger” driving school who couldn’t find the time to teach me and my nerves. Needless to say this made me even more nervous about driving. Big thank you to Heather who is an excellent tutor, gave me confidence when I was very nervous at the beginning, and really went out of her way to help me pass my test. Yay!!! I passed!!!

Learning driving is one of my new year resolution for 2015, so I phoned an instructor my friend recommended me and asked about having lessons with her. Unfortunately (and fortunately at the same time) she was too busy at the time and referred me to Heather.

Heather is very funny and I looked forward to my lessons every week ! I’m so glad that I’ve had my driving lessons with Heather- she made me laugh, she taught me how to drive safely, and most importantly, she taught me how to face failures and learn from mistakes. I rang Heather in April telling her I had to be passed by August and over the past three months , as the weeks have gone by, I have looked forward to my lessons more and more. Passed my test first time

On the 19th of october I passed my test.

Having put off learning to drive for years, I finally bit the bullet. Feeling very nervous at the start, but thanks to Balbir, I felt more and more confortable being behind wheel. Balbir is a very good driving instructor, she gave me the confidence I needed to learn to drive.

Heather is fantastic, she made a real effort to get me ready for my test. And I passed first time!!!

At the tender age of 31 I really didn’t think I’d ever pass my driving test. I had tried once before which was a complete failure and was petrified to get behind the wheel. Excellent teaching

I came to lessons after having lost confidence in my driving due to a previous instructor and a failed test. Phil was calm, professional and helped me to gradually rebuild my confidence. I sadly wasn't able to take my test with apple due to a change in personal circumstance but I know Phil wouldn't have let me take it until I was 100% ready to go. I learned not just how to drive but how to do so safely which was important to me. Would definitely recommend.

Passed first time with Heather!!!

I came to driving a little late at 24, I was nervous to begin with however, Heather calmed my nerves down and took time to explain everything. By the time I was driving around Bristol I felt confident that everything was going to be okay. Coming up to my test was a tough time, but Heather talked me through everything and kept telling me that I was ready and just to keep calm. With Heather's help, I passed first time with only 4 minors and as soon as I passed I felt confident enough to be driving around Bristol alone.

I could only learn on weekends because of work which, made it quite difficult for any driving school to take me on. However, Heather made a new spot for me at 7:45am so I could start learning. I'm going to miss our Saturday's, but I'm happy to have my lie-ins back. Thank you for everything Heather!

Outstanding! Passed first time after 25 years of thinking that I would never drive!

I have been through 3 driving school before to find Apple Driving School, this is when I have really started to learn how to drive safely. In only 3 months I was test ready and passed second time (I was stressing at the first test).

Heather takes the time to explain why, how, when, etc.. it really helped me to understand how to be a safe driver.

Prices are competitive. The cars are recent and always tidy.

The Instructors are very helpful and friendly.

I have already booked lessons for my wife as I know she will pass soon with Apple Driving School.

Outstanding! Passed first time after 25 years of thinking that I would never drive!

I can't speak highly enough of Heather and Apple Driving School. I contacted Apple Driving School as a last attempt to learn to drive after several bad experiences and a deep seated fear of driving ( I am 42 years of age )- I had all but given up hope of getting anywhere near test standard, let alone passing...but here we are, 8 months later and I have passed on the first try thanks to Heather!

From the first lesson Heather listened to my fears and tailored the lessons around them, allowing my confidence to grow at my own pace whilst also encouraging me to take that next step. I really can't fault her method. As well as this, she is very safety-conscience and teaches to a very high standard. I now truly have an understanding of the skill level required to be a safe and confident driver.

Thank you so much Heather. I would never have believed that I could have achieved this and I couldn't have done it without your help, knowledge, chats and laughs and endless patience :)

Super happy!!!

I've passed my driving test today thanks to Heather. She was amazing throughout the past few months, she's not only an instructor but a friend too. She made learning to drive so enjoyable for me and she was always so calm even when we met lorries on the narrow road on a bend and that's just what I needed. Passed First Time

My boyfriend and a friend of his both learned with Heather at Apple, and both passed first time, so she came strongly recommended. Heather is a great instructor and puts you at ease straight away. Very thorough teaching, so you can go to test knowing everything is covered. I was a very nervous learner, but I managed to pass on my first attempt, due to Heather's teaching. Phillip was extremely helpful and experienced. Passed with 3 minors

I learnt to drive with Phillip. He was extremely patient and very knowledgeable in all aspects of driving. The most helpful thing that Phillip taught me was how to drive safely and not to just pass my test. These benefits are fully realised when you’ve passed your test and you feel confident driving on your own. Whilst learning to drive I had many gaps, such as holidays and the process therefore took longer. However, Phillip was extremely flexible and we were able to pick up straight from where we left off because of his experience and guidance. I would strongly recommend taking lessons with Phillip.

Apple driving school is the best

I had taken driving lessons 10 years ago with another driving school, I had been taking lessons for about 6 months and never really progressed in fact I got more nervous as time went on so I decided to quit and thought that some people are just not ment to drive and I was one of them.

I recently decided to have another try and contacted Heather from Apple driving school and I have learned so much in a short amount of time (started middle of June). I am due to take my test in 5 weeks! Heather is so patient and fun to drive with she really puts herself out to help you.

Dedicated instructor helped me pass first time

I passed my test first time last week, and I couldn't be happier with the training provided to me by Apple Driving School. My instructor Heather was dedicated, incredibly patient and incredibly responsive to my learning style and needs. As an older learner (31) who had difficulty with instructors in the past, I was nervous about the process. However, Heather put me at ease and I really looked forward to my time in the car, learning and laughing. I am a late learner, having put off learning how to drive for many years, as I was fearful of driving. Balbir was patient and encouraging, not only helping me with my technical driving skills, but helping me work through my nervousness, in order to become more confident on the road. Great Driving School

I found Apple Driving School completely by chance and don’t think I could have come across a better school. Heather is absolutely amazing, so calm, honest and friendly. I learnt to drive with Heather after spending 30 lessons with another Instructor and to know that I still had to have my basics corrected I was disappointed with my previous instructor. But within few lessons It was all corrected. I never felt stressed with Heather; she is so calm and cool and we laughed and learnt. She always motivates to learn and never discourages.
